Projektbeschreibung

Abstract

The present follow-up project of “spatial energy planning for heat transition” will realize the completion of the foundations for spatial energy planning (SEP). Building upon, scaling and adapting the solid basis created by its predecessor it will extend the considered energy and GHG-emission related topics in the successfully developed and implemented processes of public planning to all sectors of energy use by integrating electricity and mobility. Further goals address the monitoring of effects of the implementation of SEP processes and the development of approaches for the transformation of the building stock to-wards decarbonisation. Last but not least it will work for the adaption of concrete legal regulations in order to be able to execute SEP in an (even more) effective way. At the end of the project relevant processes of public planning (strategic planning, regional development and area development) in the participating provinces will effectively and efficiently take en-ergy and GHG related questions from all three sectors into account - using automized analysis generated by the ENERGYatlas and –app and considering energy infrastructure planning processes of the grid operators.
