Umweltrelevante Produktdaten in kollaborativen BIM-Umgebungen

Projektbeschreibung

Bauprodukte können aufgrund ihrer Schadstoffgehalte oder Schadstofffreisetzungen ein Risikopotenzial für die Umwelt und die Gesundheit darstellen. Diese qualitativen Produktinformationen werden in Ökobilanzen nicht abgebildet und werden bislang in die BIM-Umgebung noch nicht systematisch einbezogen. Im Gegensatz dazu zeigen Bedarfsanalysen bei HerstellerInnen und AnwenderInnen einen hohen Bedarf auch an diesen umweltrelevanten Produktinformationen im digitalen Bauwerks¬modell. Normative Standards für das Produktinformationsmanagement und Produkt-Datenvorlagen über den Bauwerkslebenszyklus wie die ISO 19650-1 und ISO 23387 wurden 2019 entwickelt und bisher nur vereinzelt in proprietären Systemen angewandt.
Im Projekt BIMpeco werden Anforderungen und Datenstrukturen für das digitale Informationsmanagement von umweltrelevanten Produktdaten entwickelt, welche folgenden Prinzipien genügen:
• Verwaltung und Dokumentation im Common Data Environment (CDE, kollaborative BIM-Umgebung für alle – auch nichtgrafische – Informationen),
• Aufbau auf bestehenden und neuen Standards und Methoden,
• Berücksichtigung des gesamten Lebenszyklus des Bauwerks,
• Weitergabe der Informationen entlang der Lieferkette,
• fortlaufende Spezifizierung der Informationsanforderungen,
• Qualitätssicherung der Informationen.
Die angestrebten Ergebnisse des Projekts sind:
• Attributmodell und Datenvorlagen (Data Templates) für umweltrelevante Produktinformationen zu Bauprodukten und Haustechnikkomponenten (konform mit ISO 23387)
• Workflows und Standards zur Einbindung dieser Produktinformationen in den Prozess Ausschreibung, Vergabe und Abrechnung
• Richtlinien für das Produktinformationssystem im Common Data Environment (konform mit ISO 19650-1)
• Beschreibung von Fallbeispielen mittels beispielhafter Produktdatenblätter (Product Data Sheets) und Szenarien
Mit dem Projekt BIMpeco werden erstmalig Grundlagen für ein lebenszyklus- und lieferkettenbegleitendes Produktinformationsmanagement von umweltrelevanten Eigenschaften von Bauprodukten und Haustechnikkomponenten im Common Data Environment (CDE) geschaffen. Die Projektergebnisse werden
• in Workshops mit Stakeholdern diskutiert und mit etablierten Prozessabläufen abgestimmt.
• open-source zur Verfügung gestellt und können in jedes beliebige CDE, welches den genannten Standards entspricht, eingebunden werden.
• in Forschung und Praxis verbreitet und an Normenausschüsse und BIM-Kooperativen weitergegeben.

Abstract

Construction products can pose a risk to the environment and health due to their pollutant content or releases. This qualitative product information is not shown in life cycle assessments and has not yet been systematically included in the BIM environment. In contrast, needs analyses show a high demand for this environmentally relevant product information in the digital building model by manufacturers and users. Normative standards for product information management and product data templates over the building lifecycle such as ISO 19650-1 and ISO 23387 were developed in 2019 and have so far only been used occasionally in proprietary systems.
In the BIMpeco project, requirements and data structures for digital information management of environmentally relevant product data are developed, which meet the following principles:
• Administration and documentation in the Common Data Environment (CDE, collaborative BIM environment for all – including non-graphical – information),
• on the basis of existing and new standards and methods,
• consideration of the entire life cycle of the structure,
• passing on information along the supply chain,
• continuous specification of information requirements,
• quality assurance of the information.
The intended results of the project are:
• Attribute model and data templates for environmentally relevant product information on construction products and building services components (conforming to ISO 23387)
• Workflows and standards for integrating this product information into the process of tendering, awarding and billing
• Guidelines for the product information system in the Common Data Environment (conforming to ISO 19650-1)
• Description of case studies using exemplary product data sheets and scenarios
The BIMpeco project is the first to lay the foundations for product information management of environmentally relevant properties of construction products and building services components in the Common Data Environment (CDE), covering the entire lifecycle and supply chain. The project results will be
• discussed in workshops with stakeholders and coordinated with established processes.
• made available on an open-source basis and can be integrated into any CDE that complies with the standards mentioned.
• disseminated in research and practice and passed on to standards committees and BIM cooperatives.
