Entwicklung eines Klimaneutralitätsfahrplans für die Marktgemeinde Rankweil

Projektbeschreibung

Die Marktgemeinde Rankweil verfügt bereits über zahlreiche klimarelevante Konzepte, Strategiepapiere und Maßnahmenpläne. Die zunehmende Zahl dieser strategischen Papiere macht es allerdings schwierig, diese Leitbilder und Konzepte im Überblick zu behalten und damit auch anzuwenden. Zudem sollten diese strategischen Dokumente teilweise aktualisiert und durch konkrete Maßnahmen untermauert werden.

Mit der Klima-Rahmenstrategie soll der Gemeinde am Ende des Prozesses eine tragfähige und breit aufgestellte kommunale Strategie als Fahrplan für die nächsten Jahre vorliegen. Der dialogisch angelegte Erarbeitungsprozess setzt dabei auf das Einbeziehen zahlreicher Stakeholder aus der Gemeinde. Parallel dazu fungieren nationale und regionale Austauschplattformen als wichtige Informationsquellen und ermöglichen eine Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Städten und Gemeinden.

Erklärtes Ziel des Prozesses ist es, ein anwendungsfreundliches Strategiedokument zu erarbeiten, das Gemeindepolitik, Gemeindeverwaltung und Stakeholder wie das KEM-Management oder externe Planungsbüros für ihre Aufgaben in der Gemeindeentwicklung aktiv nutzen können.

Abstract

The town of Rankweil has worked on numerous climate-relevant concepts, strategy papers and action plans. However, the increasing number of these strategic papers makes it difficult to maintain an overview of these guiding principles and concepts and thus also to apply them. In addition, some of these strategic documents should be updated and underpinned by concrete measures.

At the end of the process, the climate strategy for Rankweil should provide the municipality with a sustainable and broad-based municipal strategy as a roadmap for the coming years. The dialog-based development process of the climate strategy relies on the involvement of numerous stakeholders from the municipality. At the same time, national and regional exchange platforms act as important sources of information and enable cooperation with other cities and municipalities.

The declared aim of the process is to develop a user-friendly strategy document that can be actively used by municipal politicians, municipal administrations and stakeholders such as the KEM management or external planning offices for their municipal development tasks.
