Projektbeschreibung
Die Studie „GreenPhotonics“ erhebt technologische Potentiale sowie die besonderen österreichischen Stärkefelder von photonischen Technologien für „grüne Anwendungen“ zur Unterstützung der Energie- und Mobilitätswende, der Kreislaufwirtschaft und der klimaneutralen Stadt. Zudem wird eine Roadmap für politische EntscheidungsträgerInnen erarbeitet, um die notwendigen Bausteine transformativer Innovationspolitik frühzeitig erkennen und wirksam einsetzen zu können. Ziel ist es, die in Österreich bestehenden Kompetenzen und Stärkefelder optimal ausschöpfen zu können.
Abstract
The study "GreenPhotonics" analyses the technological potential as well as the Austrian-specific areas of strength in photonic technologies for "green applications". With this, the study aims to support the environmental policy targets related to the energy and mobility transition, the circular economy and the climate-neutral city. A roadmap for political decision makers will be developed to identify and leverage the necessary building blocks of transformative innovation policy at an early stage. The aim is to make optimal use of Austria's existing competencies and areas of strength.
