Projektbeschreibung
Ausgangsituation und Motivation
Lieferverkehr und die damit verbundene Ladetätigkeit führt vor allem im urbanen Raum häufig zu Herausforderungen für Beteiligte. Die für eine reibungslose Logistik erforderlichen Ladezonen können jedoch nur in begrenztem Ausmaß zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Eine wesentliche Erkenntnis aus dem Projekt Urban Loading ist dabei, dass das Feststellen der Belegung von Ladezonen und die Bereitstellung dieser Informationen an Verkehrsteilnehmer einen wesentlichen Beitrag zur Optimierung der Auslastung von Ladezonen beitragen würde.
Ziele und Innovationsgehalt
Um diesem Wissenszuwachs nachzukommen, beinhaltet das Projekt SCHNURRR die Entwicklung und Erprobung eines flexiblen und mobilen Systems zur punktuellen und temporären Erfassung der Belegung von Zonen für den ruhenden Güterverkehr. Ziel ist es anhand dieser online verfügbaren Belegungsdaten einerseits die Planung und Validierung von Ladezonen zu unterstützen und andererseits die Prognose von Stellplatzinformationssystemen zu verbessern.
Angestrebte Ergebnisse und Erkenntnisse
Im Rahmen dieses Projektes soll ein Labormuster entwickelt werden, welches sowohl im urbanen Mobilitätslabor thinkport VIENNA als auch in einer definierten Realumgebung in Wien ersten Tests sowie einer Evaluierung unterzogen wird.
Gemeinsam mit den am Projekt beteiligten Stakeholdern und thinkport VIENNA werden die Ergebnisse des Projekts evaluiert und mögliche Geschäftsmodelle parallel dazu entwickelt.
Abstract
Initial situation and motivation
Delivery traffic and its loading activities often lead to challenges for stakeholders, especially in urban areas, as required loading zones are limited. The project Urban Loading showed that the knowledge of current and future capacity utilization of loading zones and the provision of this information to road users could significantly contribute to an optimization of delivery traffic.
Goals and innovative content
In order to comply with this increase in knowledge, SCHNURRR includes the development and testing of a flexible and mobile system for the selective and temporary recording of the utilization of zones for stationary freight traffic. The aim of the usage of this online data is, on the one hand, to support the planning and validation of loading zones and, on the other hand, to improve the prognosis algorithms of information systems.
Desired results and findings
As part of this project, a laboratory model will be developed, which will undergo initial tests and an evaluation in the urban mobility laboratory thinkport VIENNA as well as in a defined environment on the streets of Vienna.
Together with the stakeholders involved in the project and thinkport VIENNA, the results of the project will be evaluated and possible business models will be developed.
