Projektbeschreibung
Die Europäische Kommission strebt mit dem Programm „Digitales Europa“ und der Europäischen Datenstrategie die Schaffung gemeinsamer europäischer Datenräume an, um Innovationen zu fördern und eine florierende Datenwirtschaft aufzubauen, wobei ethische und rechtliche Standards gewahrt bleiben sollen. Diese Datenräume sind für die Weiterentwicklung von KI und Cloud-to-Edge-Computing von entscheidender Bedeutung und werden durch Rechtsvorschriften
wie den Data Governance Act (DGA) und den Data Act (DA) unterstützt.
Unter den 14 Sektoren konzentriert sich der gemeinsame europäische Agrardatenraum (CEADS) auf den Agrar- und Lebensmittelsektor und integriert Daten, Infrastrukturen sowie Governance- und Geschäftsmodelle, um einen sicheren Datenaustausch zu ermöglichen.
Das vorbereitende Projekt AgriDataSpace hat in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Data Space Support Centre bereits die
notwendigen Bausteine und Roadmap-Szenarien entworfen. Das CEADS-Projekt zielt darauf ab, diesen Datenraum einzurichten und zu operationalisieren,um einen sicheren und vertrauenswürdigen Datenaustausch für den Agrar- und Lebensmittelsektor, einschließlich der öffentlichen Verwaltungen, zu gewährleisten. Dies wird den wirtschaftlichen, ökologischen und gesellschaftlichen Wert steigern und gleichzeitig hohe Standards in Bezug auf Datenschutz, Sicherheit und Ethik gewährleisten.
Die Einführung von CEADS erfolgt nach einem schlanken Multi-Akteur-Entwicklungsansatz, der auf der Wissenschaft und Praxis des Innovationsökosystems basiert.
Dieser Ansatz umfasst die Einführung von CEADS in drei aufeinanderfolgenden Mindestlebensfähigen-Produktzyklen (MVP), einschließlich der Phasen Co-Design und Anpassung, Implementierung und Integration, Test und Betrieb
sowie Bewertung. Das Projekt wird mit einer umfassenden Roadmap und einem Nachhaltigkeitsplan für die Skalierung und
Konsolidierung von CEADS abgeschlossen.
Abstract
The European Commission, through the Digital Europe programme and the European Data Strategy, aims to create
Common European Data Spaces to stimulate innovation and build a thriving data economy, while upholding ethical and
legal standards. These data spaces are crucial for advancing AI and Cloud to Edge computing, supported by legislation
such as the Data Governance Act (DGA) and the Data Act (DA).
Among the 14 sectors, the Common European Agricultural Data Space (CEADS) focuses on the agri-food sector, integrating data, infrastructures, and governance and business models to facilitate secure data sharing.
The preparatory AgriDataSpace project, in collaboration with the Data Space Support Centre, has already framed the
necessary building blocks and roadmap scenarios. The CEADS project aims to deploy and operationalize this data space,
ensuring secure and trusted data sharing for the agri-food sector, including public administrations. This will enhance
economic, environmental, and societal value while maintaining high standards of privacy, security, and ethics.
The deployment of CEADS will adopt a lean multi-actor development approach, grounded in innovation ecosystem
science and practice. This approach involves deploying the CEADS through 3 consecutive minimum viable product
(MVP) cycles, including phases of co-design and adaptation, implementation and integration, testing and operation,
and evaluation. The project will conclude with a comprehensive roadmap and sustainability plan for the upscaling and
consolidation of CEADS.
