Digital Hosting by Property – diese App transformiert den Community Space Mesnerhof-C in einen digitalen Gastgeber.

Projektbeschreibung

Der „Mesnerhof-C“, entwickelt in einem über 400 Jahre alten Leerstand in Tirol, gilt als Pionierbetrieb für neues Arbeiten am Land. Sämtliche Raumstrukturen der Unterkunft sind auf gemeinschaftliche Unternehmungen, insb. für Workation, ausgerichtet. Das Konzept wurde ua. mit dem New Work Award ausgezeichnet und zum Office of the Year gewählt. In den zwei exklusiv buchbaren C-Spaces, Camp und Cabin, finden Communities bis zu 37 Personen Platz.
Das Hosting durch die Mesnerhof-Crew beschränkt sich im Sinne der Wirtschaftlichkeit lediglich auf ein On- bzw. Offboarding. Während des Aufenthalts sind sich die Gäste-Communities weitgehend selbst überlassen. Das Problem: die im Vorfeld einer Anreise und nochmals beim Check-In vermittelten Informationen, greifen zu wenig. Der Bedarf der Communities entsteht meist erst ad hoc mit der Nutzung der Räume – also genau in der Phase, in der die Crew „analog“ nicht Vorort ist.
Hauptziel des Projekts ist, diese „Hosting-Lücke“ zu füllen, indem die Community Immobilie Mesnerhof-C (Property) selbst die Rolle des digitalen Gastgebers übernimmt. Erreicht wird das Ziel wird mittels „PropHost“, ein standortbezogenes App-Informationssystem, welches Communities am Mesnerhof-C in die Lage versetzt, selbständig und intuitiv Hosting- Inhalte wie Gebrauchsanweisungen, Empfehlungen, Regeln sowie erzählerische Hintergründe (Narrative) dort abzurufen, wo sie gerade gebraucht werden.
Beauftragt wird die Entwicklung der innovativen Hard-/Software Lösung „PropHost“, bestehend aus CMS Backend, App Frontend und als Abrufpunkte - sogenannte „props“- NFCs / Bluetooth Beacons. Im Zuge des Projekts werden mindestens 20 solcher „props“ am Mesnerhof-C platziert. Damit der digitale Host auch im Außenraum zur Verfügung steht, wird die Versorgung des Geländes mit WIFI Infrastruktur beauftragt. PropHost gewährleistet die selbständige Skalierbarkeit und Erweiterbarkeit.
Als Nebenziel kommen wir dem viel geäußerte Wunsch der Workation-Communities nach und beschaffen 4 mobile 360 Grad Videokonferenzeinheiten (vorauss. Meeting Owl Pro)

The "Mesnerhof-C", developed in a vacant building in Tyrol that is over 400 years old, is considered a pioneering company for New Work in the countryside. All of the accommodation's structures are geared towards communal activities, especially for workation. The concept has won the New Work Award and been voted Office of the Year. The two exclusively bookable C-Spaces, Camp and Cabin, can accommodate communities of up to 37 people.
In the interests of economic efficiency, hosting by the Mesnerhof Crew is limited to on- and offboarding. During their stay, the guest communities are largely left to their own devices. The problem: the information provided before arrival and again at check-in is not sufficient. The communities' needs usually yet arise ad hoc when the rooms are used - i.e. exactly in the phase when the crew is not on site "analogously".
The main goal of the project is to fill this "hosting gap" by having the Mesnerhof-C community property take on the role of digital host itself. The goal is achieved using "PropHost" which is a location-based app information system that enables communities at Mesnerhof-C to independently and intuitively access hosting content such as instructions for use, recommendations, rules and narrative backgrounds wherever they are needed on site.
The development of the innovative hardware/software solution "PropHost" will be contracted and will consist of a CMS backend, app frontend and - so-called "props" - NFCs / Bluetooth beacons - as retrieval points. As part of the project, at least 20 such "props" will be placed at Mesnerhof-C. To ensure that the digital host is also available outdoors, the site is supplied with WIFI infrastructure. PropHost ensures independent scalability and expandability.
As a secondary goal, we are fulfilling the much-expressed wish of the workation communities by procuring 4 mobile 360 degree video conferencing units (presumably Meeting Owl Pro)
