Projektbeschreibung
Im Projekt SINA wird ein Simulationstool für nachhaltige Freizeitmobilität entwickelt, um die Genauigkeit aktueller verkehrlicher Angebotsplanung bei der An- und Abreise von urbanen Naherholungsgebieten im Sinne einer nachhaltigen und klimaneutralen Mobilität zu verbessern. Hauptziel des Projektes ist die erstmalige Schaffung eines daten- und modellgetriebenen Ansatzes zum evidenzunterstützten, treffsicheren und effektiven Ausbau von nachhaltigen Mobilitätsangeboten und entsprechenden Infrastrukturen für Freizeit- und Naherholungsmobilität. Grundlage des Simulationstools bildet ein im Projekt erhobenes systematisches Wissen über die Einflussfaktoren auf Verkehrsmittelumstiege in Richtung nachhaltiger/klimaschonender Freizeitmobilität ausgehend von urbanen Räumen hin zu städtischen Naherholungsgebieten. Das Simulationstool kann im Nachgang für alle Städte in Österreich anwendbar sein. Untersuchungsregionen des Projekts stellen die Klimapionierstädte Wien und Dornbirn sowie das Land Salzburg dar, die unterschiedliche Stadtregionsgrößen und sehr unterschiedliche Freizeit- und Tourismusstrukturen aufweisen.
Abstract
Within the project SINA, a simulation tool for sustainable recreational mobility is being developed. Aim is to increase the quality of current transport planning for urban recreational destinations (with sustainable and climate-neutral mobility).The main objective of the project is to create a unique data- and model-driven approach for evidence-based, accurate and effective development of sustainable mobility offers and corresponding infrastructures for leisure mobility. The simulation tool is based on systematic knowledge, collected within the project about the influential factors on modal shifts towards sustainable/climate-friendly leisure mobility, starting from urban areas to urban recreational areas. The simulation tool can be applicable to all cities in Austria. The study regions of the project are the climate pioneer cities of Vienna and Dornbirn as well as the state of Salzburg which have different city / regional sizes and very different leisure and tourism structures.
