Co-CreArT. Co-Creating Change! Transdisciplinary Lab for Transformation

Projektbeschreibung

Das Projektvorhaben „Co-CreArT. Co-Creating-Change!“ resultiert aus der Erkenntnis, dass das Zusammenwirken von Kunst, Wissenschaft und Technik für die Entwicklung innovativer, kreativer und praktikabler Lösungen zur Bewältigung komplexer Herausforderungen wie der Klimakrise unabdingbar ist. Es braucht die Entwicklung eines kreativen Vermögens, das zum technischen und wissenschaftlichen dazukommt, um lösungsorientiert, gestaltend und vorausschauend agieren zu können. Künstlerische Zugänge, vor allem künstlerische Gestaltungsprozesse, befördern die Entwicklung eines solchen Mindsets.

Ziel von Co-CreArT ist die Entwicklung und Umsetzung eines inspirierenden Lernortes, der außerhalb herkömmlicher Bildungsangebote verschiedene Experimentier- und Vermittlungsformate zur Erarbeitung zukunftsweisender Praktiken und kreativen Lösungen im Innovationsfeld Klimaschutz bietet. Kinder und Jugendliche zwischen 12 und 19 Jahren sind am Aufbau und der Ausgestaltung des transdisziplinären Experimentier- und Lernraumes CreArT-Lab involviert und stellen die primäre Zielgruppe dar.
Der inhaltliche Fokus liegt auf den Themen Bauen und Wohnen sowie Mobilität, die global wie auch regional hohe Relevanz und Dringlichkeit zur Transformation in Richtung Klimaneutralität besitzen. Die thematische Auseinandersetzung bezieht ökologische, technologische, ökonomische und soziokulturelle Perspektiven mit ein. Das kontinuierliche Ineinandergreifen von künstlerisch-kreativen und wissenschaftlich-technischen Zugängen sowie transdisziplinär angelegte Settings bilden den Dreh- und Angelpunkt des Projektes. Ziel ist die Förderung einer umfassenden Lösungs- und Gestaltungskompetenz, die zum positiven, überzeugten und zielgerichteten Handeln animiert. Im Sinne des Leitgedankens „Co-Creating Change!“ sollen die Nutzer*innen inspiriert und befähigt werden, gemeinsam Wandel zu gestalten.
In der ersten Phase erfolgt die Planung, Ausstattung und Umsetzung des CreArT-Labs, eines mobilen Labors, das in der zweiten Phase an verschiedenen Orten mit regionalen Partnerorganisationen erprobt, adaptiert und nach Ende der Projektlaufzeit weiter betrieben wird.

Abstract

The project proposal "Co-CreArT. Co-Creating-Change!" results from the realization that the interaction of art, science and technology is crucial for the development of innovative, creative and practicable solutions to meet complex challenges such as the climate crisis. It takes the development of a creative capacity in addition to the technical and scientific ones in order to be able to act in a solution-oriented, design-oriented, and forward-looking manner. Artistic approaches, especially artistic design processes, promote the development of such a mindset.

The aim of Co-CreArT is to develop and implement an inspiring learning space that offers various experimentation and learning formats outside the traditional educational offer for the development of forward-looking practices and creative solutions in the innovation field of climate action. The primary target group - children and teenagers between the ages of 12 and 19 - is involved in the design and implementation phase of the transdisciplinary experimentation and learning space CreArT-Lab.

The thematic focus lies on the topics building & housing and mobility, which are highly relevant and urgent both globally and regionally for the transformation towards climate neutrality. The thematic discussion includes ecological, technological, economic and socio-cultural perspectives. The continuous interlocking of artistic-creative and scientific-technical approaches as well as transdisciplinary settings form the pivotal element of the project. The aim is to promote comprehensive problem-solving and creative competence that encourages positive, convinced and goal-oriented action. In the spirit of the guiding principle "Co-Creating Change!”, the users should become inspired and empowered to shape change together.

In the initial phase, the CreArT Lab, a mobile laboratory, will be designed, equipped and implemented. In the following phase, it will be tested and adapted at various locations with regional partner organizations and will continue to be operated after the end of the project.
