Projektbeschreibung
Die Gesellschaft für Mess-, Automatisierungs- und Robotertechnik (GMAR) positioniert Mess-, Automatisierungs- und Robotiktechnologien (MAR) als zentrale Schlüsseltechnologien für den Wirtschafts- und Technologiestandort Österreich. Damit wird insgesamt die österreichische Wertschöpfung gesteigert und die nationale Technologiesouveränität in den MAR-Bereichen langfristig gewährleistet. Ziel ist es, diese Technologien in Industrie, Forschung und Gesellschaft sichtbarer, wirksamer und international anschlussfähiger zu machen. Die GMAR entwickelt ihre Formate konsequent entlang der Anforderungen industrieller Anwender weiter, insbesondere in Bereichen wie der industriellen Produktion, der intelligenten Logistik, der Gesundheits- und Medizintechnik, der Agrar- und Lebensmitteltechnologie sowie der autonomen Mobilität. Durch regelmäßige Evaluierung werden Angebote, Netzwerkstrukturen und Austauschformate kontinuierlich geschärft und an den Bedarf der Community angepasst.
Damit stärkt die GMAR die Handlungsfähigkeit der österreichischen Robotik- und MAR-Community. Unternehmen finden schneller geeignete Technologie- und Forschungspartner, Forschungseinrichtungen erhalten direkten Zugang zu konkreten industriellen Herausforderungen und Stakeholder werden durch strukturierte Rückmeldungen aus der Community gestärkt. Die GMAR vernetzt relevante Akteure, beschleunigt Kooperationen und stärkt damit das industrielle Ökosystem und den Technologiestandort Österreich. Zugleich erhöht sie die internationale Sichtbarkeit Österreichs als kompetenten, innovationsstarken und kooperationsfähigen Standort für Mess-, Automatisierungs- und Robotiktechnologien.
Abstract
The Society for Measurement, Automation, and Robotics Technology (GMAR) is positioning measurement, automation, and robotics technologies (MAR) as key technologies for Austria as a hub for business and technology. This will boost overall Austrian added value and ensure long-term national technological sovereignty in the MAR sectors. The objective is to make these technologies more visible, effective, and internationally compatible in industry, research, and society. GMAR consistently develops its formats in line with the requirements of industrial users, particularly in areas such as industrial production, smart logistics, health and medical technology, agricultural and food technology, as well as autonomous mobility. Through regular evaluation, services, network structures, and exchange formats are continuously optimized and adapted to the needs of the community.
In this way, GMAR strengthens the capacity of the Austrian robotics and MAR community to take action. Companies can find appropriate technology and research partners more quickly, research institutions gain direct access to specific industrial challenges, and stakeholders are empowered through structured feedback from the community. GMAR connects relevant stakeholders, accelerates collaborations, and thereby strengthens the industrial ecosystem and Austria’s position as a technology hub. At the same time, it increases Austria’s international visibility as a competent, highly innovative, and collaborative hub for measurement, automation, and robotics technologies.
