Projektbeschreibung

Abstract

Here’s the English translation of your text:

AI remains a hot topic, with seemingly limitless applications—but how can companies actually implement it?
The AI-Mobil Austria brings artificial intelligence as a key technology to where it creates real added value: directly to the shop floors of manufacturing companies across Austria. As a national mobile networking platform, the project provides SMEs with low-threshold access to AI, reduces reservations, strengthens employee competencies, and accelerates the transfer of research into industrial practice.
At its core is a mobile innovation lab with interactive demonstrators, making AI applications tangible on-site and inspiring companies to identify concrete potential use cases. By 2028, at least 160 deployments will be conducted in all nine federal states, reaching at least 1,500 employees. This is complemented by an open pool of demonstrators and the networking of research, industry, and social partners.
Thus, AI-Mobil Austria fosters acceptance, orientation, and concrete implementation perspectives for AI in the manufacturing industry. The project consortium—comprising Platform Industrie 4.0, Fraunhofer Austria, FMTI, PRO-GE, and TU Wien—is broadly represented across all stakeholders and excellently networked. This enables direct feedback from company visits to research institutions, funding bodies, and ministries, strengthening Austria’s AI ecosystem as a whole.
