Projektbeschreibung
Das Thema Aktive Mobilität gewinnt aufgrund seiner positiven Auswirkungen in den Bereichen Gesundheit, Klimaschutz, Umwelt, Verkehr und Wirtschaft zunehmend an gesamtgesellschaftlicher Bedeutung. Bis dato fehlt jedoch eine gesamtheitliche datenbasierte Bewertung der Wirkungsimplikationen aktiver Mobilität.
Genau dies ist aber erforderlich, um das Thema umfassend in den politischen Diskurs zu bringen. Das Projekt EFFECTS hat daher zum Ziel, ein innovatives, interdisziplinäres Bewertungstool zu erarbeiten, das verkehrliche, wirtschaftliche und gesundheitliche Effekte aktiver Mobilität gemeinsam betrachtet und quantifiziert.
Im Sinne eines effizienten Ansatzes werden bereits bestehend Erkenntnisse, Methoden und Modelle der einzelnen Fachbereiche kombiniert und mit Vorwissen aus dem Projektkonsortium interoperabel gemacht. Das Ergebnis: Schaffung einer evidenzbasierten Entscheidungs- und Argumentationsgrundlage, aus der entsprechende Handlungsempfehlungen für die Neuausrichtung intersektoraler Kooperation abgeleitet werden können.
Abstract
The topic of active mobility is becoming increasingly important for society as a whole due to its positive effects in the areas of health, climate protection, the environment, transport and the economy. Up to date a holistic, data-based assessment of the implications of active mobility has been missing.
However, this is the main crucial piece of scientific evidence, that is needed to introduce the topic in political discourse and related processes. The aim of the EFFECTS project is therefore to develop an innovative, interdisciplinary assessment tool that jointly considers and quantifies the traffic, economic and health effects of active mobility.
Following an evidence-based research approach, findings, methods and models from the involved research areas are combined and made interoperable. The result: an evidence-based decision-making and argumentation basis from which appropriate recommendations for new and fruitful intersectoral cooperation can be derived.
