Projektbeschreibung
Übergeordnetes Projektziel ist die Anpassung städtischer Politiken zur Förderung zielgruppenspezifischer, integrativer und bedarfsorientierter automatisierter Mobilitätslösungen für Städte. Um dieses Ziel zu erreichen, sollen die Bereitschaft, die Bedürfnisse und die Anwendungsfälle für potenzielle Nutzergruppen dieser Dienste, die bisher im Entwicklungsprozess unterrepräsentiert waren, ermittelt und im Labormaßstab validiert werden. Zu den potentiellen Nutzergruppen gehören Kinder, ältere Menschen, von Armut betroffene Personen und Personen mit vorübergehenden und langfristigen sensorischen und/oder körperlichen Beeinträchtigungen. Daher werden die Durchführbarkeit der geforderten Mobilitätsdienste sowie deren Auswirkungen in einem ko-kreativen Prozess untersucht, in dem die Bedürfnisse, Barrieren, Triebkräfte und Interaktionen zwischen den Nutzergruppen, politischen Entscheidungsträgern und ÖPNV-Anbietern mit Hilfe eines Serious Game untersucht und gemeinsam getragene Lösungen gesucht werden. Die empirische Forschung wird aus Feldstudien bestehen, die mit den Nutzergruppen durchgeführt werden. Die Studie wird in Synergie mit europäischen Projekten entwickelt, die auf den Einsatz gemeinsamer und elektrifizierter Automatisierung abzielen, um die "Neuerfindung des Rades" zu vermeiden. CATAPULT wird wesentliche Komponenten für die Entwicklung praktischer schrittweiser Politikempfehlungen für politische Entscheidungsträger und Mobilitätsdienstleister sowie Proof-of-Concept-Instrumente für die Befähigung durch co-kreative Entwicklung liefern.
Abstract
The overall project objective is to adapt urban policies for enhancing target group-specific, inclusive and demand-oriented automated mobility solutions for cities. To reach this goal the willingness, needs of and use cases for potential user groups of these services, who have been underrepresented in the development process so far, will be detected and validated on a laboratory scale. The potential user groups include children, elderly persons, persons affected by poverty and persons with temporary and long-term sensory and/or physical impairments. Therefore, the feasibility of the demanded mobility services as well as their impacts will be examined in a co-creative process using a serious game to explore the needs, barriers, drives and interactions among the user groups, policy makers and public transport providers and search for jointly supported solutions. Empirical research will consist of field studies conducted with the user groups. The study will be developed in synergy with European projects, which aim at the deployment of shared and electrified automation, in order to avoid the “reinvention of the wheel”. CATAPULT will provide essential components for the development of practical step-by-step policy recommendations for policy makers and mobility service providers and proof of concept tools for empowerment through co-creative development.
