Projektbeschreibung
Im Rahmen des Projektes soll ein Prototyp-System (TRL2 – max. TRL5) bestehend aus einer Cloud-control Plattform, V2X Kommunikationsystemen und Mobiltelefon-Applikationen entwickelt werden, für das 1) die technische Machbarkeit geprüft werden soll und 2) das Potential und die Auswirkungen auf die Verkehrssicherheit, Verkehrs- und Energieeffizienz ebenso die Verringerung umweltschädlicher Emissionen in einem urbanen Umfeld und auf der Autobahn analysiert werden. Es ist geplant Demotests des Prototyp-Systems in der chinesischen Provinz Zhejiang durchzuführen und eine Machbarkeitsstudie für die Implementierung eines solchen Systems in Klosterneuburg vorzunehmen. Sowohl für Klosterneuburg als auch für die Provinz Zhejiang wird eine Policystrategie entwickelt. Diese Policystrategie soll die notwendigen Aktionen aufzeigen, die es braucht um das entwickelte Prototyp-System für spezifische Szenarien nutzbar zu machen, wie etwa Verkehrssteuerung und Umweltzonenmanagement, die geeignet sind um die UN-Sustainable Development Goals und die Ziele der e5 Initiative zu erreichen. Der regelmäßige Austausch an Knowhow, Erfahrungen und die Etablierung langfristiger Kooperationsstrukturen zwischen den chinesischen und den österreichischen Partnern sind weitere Zielsetzungen dieses Projektes.
Abstract
This project plans to develop a prototype system (TRL 2 - max. TRL 5) including cloud-control platform, V2X communication system and mobile application to 1) verify the technical feasibility and to 2) analyse the potential and impact of such technology on traffic safety, traffic efficiency and energy as well as pollutant emission reduction in various local and highway scenarios. Demo tests of the prototype system will take place in the Zhejiang Province (China) and a feasibility test in the city of Klosterneuburg. Both the city of Klosterneuburg (Austria) and Zhejiang Province will also serve as a testbed for developing a policy strategy. This policy guides actions towards the future implementation of the prototype system for specific scenarios, e.g, traffic flow and low emission zone management etc. that are most likely to achieve the UN-Sustainable Development Goals and the e5 initiatives goals. The regular exchange of know how, experiences and the establishment of long lasting structures for cooperation between the Chinese and Austrian project partners are another overall goals of this project.
