Projektbeschreibung
Im Zuge des Forschungsprojekts “Colored-PET” wird die technische Machbarkeit des farbigen Inkjet Druckes auf Polyester (PET) zur kundenindividuellen Gestaltung von Sportartikeln evaluiert. Ziel ist es Materialien und Prozesse zu entwickeln, die das Bedrucken von haltbaren Farbmustern auf Polyesternetzen ermöglichen. Im Zuge von Colored-PET werden verschiedene Methoden getestet um passende Tinten, Substratvorbehandlungen und Druckprozesse zu identifizieren, die in einem zukünftigen kooperativen Projekt zur Anwendung kommen können. Daher ist Colored-PET ein essentieller erster Schritt um eine engere Zusammenarbeit zwischen österreichischen und chinesischen Firmenpartnern im Bereich Inkjet Druck und Textilien für individualisierte Kundenwünsche zu fördern
Abstract
In the project " Colored-PET" the technical feasibility of printing different types of inkjet inks on Polyester fabrics to individualize sports wear using different types of inkjet inks is to be evaluated. The aim of the project is to develop ink systems that allow the decoration of Polyester mesh. During the project different types of pretreatment which shall optimize the adhesion, various types of inks are to be tested to generate a techincal solution fullfilling the challinging technical requirements. Therefore "Colored-PET" is an essential first step to intensify the technical cooperation between Austrian and Chinese companies in the field of inkjet printing on textils considering individual customer requirements
