Projektbeschreibung
Das Unternehmen Mastercare GmbH versteht sich als ein IT-Unternehmen, welches Expertenlösungen und Beratung im Bereich Smart Maintenance und Care Intelligence für Pflegeeinrichtungen bereitstellt. Das Online Webportal namens Mastercare Maintenance (kurz MAMA) stellt dabei einen bereits vorhandenen Prototypen für die gesetzlich vorgeschriebenen Dokumentation von Wartungs- und Instandhaltungsarbeiten an medizintechnischen Produkten dar. Der Einsatz von medizintechnischen Produkten unterliegt gesetzlichen Rahmenbedingungen, um die Sicherheit für PatientInnen bestmöglich zu wahren. Vorgeschriebene sicherheitstechnische Kontrollen müssen dafür in definierten Intervallen von den Pflegeeinrichtungen organisiert, durchgeführt und dokumentiert werden. MAMA unterstützt dabei nicht nur die Pflegeeinrichtung in der Dokumentation, sondern erleichtert auch die organisatorischen Belange in Zusammenhang mit externen Dienstleistern. Zusätzlich ermöglicht die zentrale Verwaltung aller medizintechnischen Geräte, deren Wartungsaufwände und Reparaturleistungen auch eine Planung von eventuellen Ersatzinvestitionen. MAMA erfüllt somit auch eine Kontroll- und Steuerfunktion, um die Ausstattung der Pflegeeinrichtung effizient zu gestalten und somit den Patienten das bestmögliche Umfeld für ihren Aufenthalt zu bieten.
Das Online-Webportal ist bereits in einer ersten prototypischen Version vorhanden und bietet Basisfunktionalitäten, um medizintechnische Geräte zu verwalten und durchgeführte Sicherheitstechnische Kontrollen zu dokumentieren. Weiters ist auch die Kommunikation mit einem externen Dienstleister möglich, um weitere Schritte für eventuelle Reparaturmaßnahmen zu setzen.
Für eine erfolgreiche Markteinführung sind vor allem noch folgende Marketing-, Vertriebs- und Entwicklungstätigkeiten erforderlich:
• Weiterentwicklung der Online-Plattform um die Säulen Information, Kommunikation und Dokumentation vollumfassend auf Seite der Pflegeeinrichtung aber auch der externen Dienstleister zu realisieren. Dadurch wird eine allumfassende Lösung im wichtigen Bereich des Kontroll- und Wartungsmanagements geschaffen, die die höchste Einrichtungsqualität für die PatientInnen sichert.
• Weiterentwicklung der Online-Plattform in den Bereichen Sicherheit, Skalierbarkeit und Erweiterbarkeit.
• Planung und Durchführung von Marketingmaßnahmen (Webseite, Produktfolders, Newsletter, Medien, etc.)
• Planung und Durchführung von Vertriebsmaßnahmen (Direktvertrieb, Kooperationen mit externen Dienstleistern, Netzwerkpflege, Messen, Ausstellungen, etc.)
• Vollkommerzialisierung des Produktes mit allen dafür notwendigen Maßnahmen
Das Ergebnis dieses Projektes, mit der Unterstützung im Rahmen der Förderung, soll ein effizienter und erfolgreicher Markteintritt für das Produkt MAMA darstellen und somit die Qualität der Dokumentation und der Arbeitsweise in Pflegebetrieben im Bereich der gesetzlich erforderlichen Kontrollen von medizintechnischen Geräten wesentlich erhöhen.
Abstract
Mastercare GmbH is a software company providing specialized solutions and consulting in the domains smart maintenance and care intelligence with a special focus on nursing and care institution. The online portal Mastercare Maintenance (short MAMA) is an existing prototype for the mandatory statutory documentation of control and maintenance work conducted on medical devices. The operation of medical devices is subject to statutory regulations in order to ensure the safety of patients in every situation. Mandatory safety-related inspections need to be organised, conducted and documented in defined intervals by nursing and care institutions. MAMA not only supports this mandatory documentation but also significantly reduces the coordination efforts with external service providers. Additionally, the central administration of all medical devices including their maintenance efforts and costs allows for an efficient and effective planing of potential replacement investments. MAMA therefore also acts as a control instance that ensures that the institution"s facilities are in the best shape for every patient.
A basic prototype of the online portal is already available. This prototype currently allows the management of medical devices as well as the documentation of safety-related inspections. Additionally, it enables the basic communication with external service providers, to coordinate additional maintenance measures.
To enable a successful market launch, the following marketing, distribution and development activities are mandatory:
1) Additional development and advancement of the online platform to fully incorporate the the three major pillars information, communication and documentation for nursing and care institutions as well as service providers. By doing so enabling a holistic solution for institutions and service providers to ensure the highest quality for the patients.
2) Additional development and advancements of the online platform in the domains security, scalability and extendability.
3) Planing and conducting different marketing measures (website, product folders, newsletters and other media, etc.).
4) Planing and conducting sales measures including direct sales, cooperations with external service providers, networking, exhibitions and trade shows.
The results of this projects, with the support of this funding, should be an efficient, effective and successful market entry for the product MAMA. This in turn will significantly increase the quality of documentation and workflows in nursing and care institutions within the context of statutory safety-related controls and maintenance of medical devices.
