Projektbeschreibung
Inhalt des Projekts ist der Bau eines Prototyps der "Router and Data Compression Unit" mit folgenden Zielen:
- Überprüfung des technischen Konzepts
- Erreichung der maximalen Datenrate von 100 Mbit über SpW
- Verbesserung des "TRL Level" von derzeit 3 auf 5
Mit Abschluss des Projekts soll die endgültige Spezifikation der RDCU und die Spezifikation und das detaillierte Design für den "Compressor" vorliegen.
Abstract
The goal of this project is to build the prototype for the Router and Data Compression Unit to demonstrate:
- proof of concept
- Maximum data rate of 100Mbps via Spacewire achievable
- Improve present TRL3 to TRL5
Furthermore the final specification for the RDCU and the specification and the detailed design for the compressor shall be established.
