Jüngste technologische Entwicklungen (insbesondere Mikrosatelliten) haben für den Erdbeobachtungsmarkt ein großes Potenzial. EO-NOVA analysiert diese neuen Plattformen systematisch um Möglichkeiten, Machbarkeit sowie etwaige Risiken zu eruieren. Hauptziel von EO-NOVA ist die Sicherung unseres technologischen Vorsprunges bei Erdbeobachtungslösungen und gleichzeitiger Minimierung etwaiger Investitionsrisiken.
Abstract
The emerging new sensor platform technology (e.g. microsatellites) is shaking up the Earth Observation market representing a high potential for commercial EO service providers. For EO service providers like GeoVille, it is inevitable to study the new satellite-based technologies and their application potential and to participate in this promising development. Without our active engagement in this field, we will not be able to maintain our technological leadership and will fall behind on the Austrian and European market. The main aim of EO-NOVA is to remain on a path of providing cutting edge EO solutions maintaining GeoVille's role as innovative service provider while reducing the risk of wrong investments.
